Snow accumulation is anticipated in mountain ranges above 1,800 meters, commencing at 11 a.m. on Friday and persisting until 6 a.m. on Saturday. The provinces likely to be impacted by these snow conditions include Ifrane, Boulemane, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, Midelt, and Taroudant.
Moreover, consistent and sometimes tempestuous rainfall is predicted from 6 a.m. on Friday through 4 p.m. on Saturday, with rainfall totals ranging from 30 to 50 millimeters. This volume of rain may lead to localized flooding, flash floods in wadi areas, and disruptions in transportation. Provinces expected to receive this rainfall include Safi, Essaouira, El Jadida, Sidi Bennour, Berrechid, Settat, Casablanca, Nouaceur, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Taroudant, Nador, Al Hoceïma, Berkane, and Oujda.
Wind gusts, reaching speeds of 70 to 95 kilometers per hour and accompanied by dust storms, are anticipated on Friday between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Areas such as Figuig, Jerada, Errachidia, Ouarzazate, Zagora, Midelt, Boulemane, Guercif, and Tinghir should prepare for these strong winds.
