Proforce Secures Orders for PF Hulk Vehicles from Mali and Nigeria at IDEX 2025
Proforce of Nigeria has secured orders for the PF Hulk protected vehicle from Mali and Nigeria at IDEX 2025. The PF Hulk is a licensed adaptation of the Russian AMN-590951 ‘Spartak’, featuring a five-door configuration and mine protection capabilities. Proforce is also offering the upgraded PF Viper variant, which enhances the Otokar Cobra vehicle.
Proforce of Nigeria has announced that both Mali and Nigeria have placed orders for the PF Hulk protected vehicle during the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) 2025 in Abu Dhabi. The orders signify an important step in military logistics for both nations, enhancing their capabilities with locally produced vehicles under a licensing agreement.
The PF Hulk is a modified version of the Russian AMN-590951 ‘Spartak’ 4×4 protected vehicle. This model features a five-door configuration, accommodating up to ten personnel. It has a gross weight of 14.5 tonnes and operates on a 6.65-liter YaMZ-536 six-cylinder engine, delivering 360 hp through a choice of a six- or five-speed transmission. The vehicle offers mine protection levels meeting STANAG 4569 standards, specifically levels 2a and 2b.
In addition, Proforce is promoting an upgraded variant of the Otokar Cobra, known as the PF Viper. This modification enhances the original vehicle by adding an extra pair of doors, bringing the total to five. Furthermore, the upgrade addresses engine cooling, ensuring optimal performance in the African climate. The PF Viper weighs approximately seven tonnes and operates on a 3-liter V6 Hyundai S2D6EB engine, generating up to 250 hp.
