On Thursday, a postmortem examination of the body of British national Campbell Scott, aged 58, was performed at Makueni County Referral Hospital. The procedure was conducted by Dr. Richard Njoroge, the Deputy Government Pathologist, who was accompanied by officials from the Homicide Division of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Nairobi. Despite inquiries from the media, Dr. Njoroge refrained from disclosing any details regarding the cause of death, stating, “I cannot not speak today, not today.”
Scott’s body was discovered on Sunday in Makongo Forest, where it had been placed in a sack along with several pineapples. To date, law enforcement has apprehended a taxi driver and a waiter, who are currently assisting detectives with the ongoing investigation. The Homicide Division has obtained samples for further forensic analysis.
Following the autopsy, the body was transferred to Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi. The family’s representative, David Hornus, who was present during the postmortem, also opted not to comment to the press following the examination. As investigations continue, the authorities are seeking additional information regarding Scott’s unfortunate demise.
In conclusion, the postmortem of Campbell Scott remains shrouded in secrecy following Dr. Njoroge’s refusal to reveal details about the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities pursuing leads and analyzing evidence from the scene. The involvement of the family representative and law enforcement illustrates the seriousness of the situation as they work to uncover the truth behind Scott’s death.
