His body was discovered on February 23 in Makongo forest, approximately 60 miles south of Nairobi, secured in a sack where his limbs were bound with rope and injuries visible on his hands.

CCTV footage captured Mr. Scott leaving Havana Bar in Nairobi with an unidentified man before they proceeded to the Pipeline slum, known for its criminal activities. Investigations suggest that he was tortured for financial information at this location before his murder. Court documents indicate that Mr. Scott may have been murdered at Kithuka’s residence.
