The accused, Luckmore Tawanda Muzhira, Takudzwa Trust Nzounhenda, and Itai Elvis Takawira, aged between 28 and 39, are charged with assault, extortion, robbery, and kidnapping. Their case has been postponed to March 14 for a formal bail application.

The swift action of law enforcement agencies resulted in the successful rescue of the kidnapping victim, who suffered injuries but is in stable condition. Authorities continue to investigate the incident, which involved ransom demands reaching R5 million and threats to the victim’s life.
