Lebanon and France Discuss Strengthening Military Cooperation
Lebanon’s acting Army Commander Major General Hassan Audi and French Brigadier General Philippe de Montenon met in Beirut to discuss strengthening military cooperation. They focused on establishing greater collaboration between their respective armed forces, with Colonel Bruno Costantini present at the discussions.
On Wednesday, senior military officials from Lebanon and France convened in Beirut to explore avenues for enhancing military collaboration. The meeting featured Lebanon’s acting Army Commander Major General Hassan Audi and Brigadier General Philippe de Montenon, who leads the Center for the Planning and Conduct of Operations within the French Ministry of Defense. Colonel Bruno Costantini, the French military attaché in Lebanon, also participated in the discussions.
The focus of their dialogue was primarily on “ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries’ armies,” according to reports from Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA). This meeting underscores the commitment of both nations to fortify their defense ties and improve operational synergy.
