Centeno’s mother, Yuhengris Gerdez, expressed her anguish regarding her daughter’s disappearance, stressing that Miguelys always maintained communication about her whereabouts. “I’m a desperate mother wanting to know what happened, what happened to my daughter,” she stated emphatically.

According to reports, before her disappearance on the morning of February 20, Miguelys was last spotted entering a truck driven by Mr. Pereira.
