The suspect revealed that he was employed by an office in Poipet that was controlled by a Chinese scam operator from November 2023 to February 2025. His activities contributed to an estimated 30 million baht in revenues from the call centre scams, with his office profiting from an 8-12% commission on these operations.

He detailed his role in the operation, stating that twenty Thai mule accounts were utilized daily for laundering purposes. Each account earned him a payment of 8,000-12,000 baht. His responsibilities included translating for the Chinese operators, overseeing the establishment of mule accounts, scanning account holders, converting money into Tether USDT cryptocurrency through platforms like Binance and Bitkub, and subsequently transferring the USDT to the gang’s wallets as directed by the boss.
