Proton Competition’s participation in the FIA World Endurance Championship’s LMGT3 division saw their Ford Mustang LMGT3 encounter challenges, notably in Qatar last month, where they experienced both triumphs and setbacks. The team faced a difficult start when their 77 entry, driven by Ben Tuck, suffered a fire during the initial pre-event test, which ruled it out for the remainder of the test session.

Despite this obstacle, the team made a commendable recovery, getting the vehicle back on track for FP1. Bernardo Sousa ultimately qualified the car in 16th position among 18 contenders.
