Cameroon Red Cross Volunteers Play Key Role in Cholera Outbreak Containment

In response to a cholera outbreak in November 2024, Cameroon Red Cross volunteer Rouyatou played a crucial role in early detection and containment. Utilizing her training from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Rouyatou quickly recognized the symptoms and reported the case via a digital tool called Nyss.
