Two PDP Lawmakers Defect to APC Amid Party Crises in Niger and Kaduna

Two additional members of the House of Representatives have transitioned from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC). The defecting lawmakers are Husseini Jallo, representing Igabi Federal Constituency in Kaduna State, and Adamu Tanko, representing Suleja/Tara/Gurara Federal Constituency in Niger State.

The Speaker, Abbas Tajudeen, announced the defection during a plenary session, where the legislators attributed their decision to ongoing crises within the PDP.
