TX Foundation Collaborates with Ministry of Education for Classroom Enhancements in Saint Vincent

On February 27, 2025, the TX Foundation hosted ceremonies in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to inaugurate educational enhancements, including vocational classrooms and assistive devices for students. Led by President Liza Lin, along with CEO Freda Miriklis and Secretary Anna Hsieh, the TX Foundation inaugurated a culinary vocational classroom at West St. George Secondary School, donated assistive devices for visually impaired students at Fair Hall Governmental School, and unveiled a science laboratory at Troumaca Ontario Secondary School. The total contributions amounted to approximately USD 110,000.

The ceremonies were co-hosted by Hon. Curtis King, Minister of Education, and H.E. Fiona Huei-Chun Fan, Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to SVG. The events were attended by senior educational officials, school principals, and numerous teachers and students. Hon. Keisal Peters, Minister of Social Development, and Hon. Carlos James, Minister of Tourism, were present during the celebrations at the respective schools, witnessing the generous donations.

Ambassador Fan commended the TX Foundation for its charitable initiatives, noting the importance of fostering understanding and collaboration between Taiwan and SVG. She encouraged students and faculty to seek Taiwanese government scholarships to further their education in Taiwan, reinforcing the enduring friendship between the nations.
