The team achieved its best-ever results with Damon Hill and Ralf Schumacher securing a first and second place at the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix. The following year, they placed third in the championship, with Heinz-Harald Frentzen narrowly missing the chance to contend for the drivers’ title.

As the team diminished in influence during the 2000s, Jordan lost significant partnerships and faced financial difficulties, ultimately being bought out by Midland in 2005. Born in Dublin in 1948, Jordan remained influential in motorsport through his work as a pundit, a commentator, and subsequently, as a podcaster with David Coulthard.
