Investigating the Chilling Murder of Saurabh Rajpur in Meerut
The Meerut murder case reveals that Muskaan Rastogi and her lover, Sahil Shukla, planned and executed the murder of her husband Saurabh Rajpur with premeditated actions involving the purchase of knives and rehearsals on how to stab him. Saurabh’s body was dismembered and buried under cement, following the couple’s plot to conceal their crime. Their actions were influenced by drug use and an extramarital affair, leading to a tragic betrayal.
Recent findings in the Meerut murder case involving Saurabh Rajpur and his wife Muskaan Rastogi reveal chilling details of the crime committed on March 3. Just eight days prior, Muskaan purchased two knives for 800 rupees and rehearsed stabbing techniques. Fearing her knife skills were inadequate, she acquired a cut-throat razor, which ultimately was employed to sever Saurabh’s head from his body after he was killed.
Muskaan and her accomplice, Sahil Shukla, have been arrested for Saurabh’s murder, where his body was dismembered into 15 parts and concealed in a plastic drum covered in cement. The gruesome evidence surfaced when Muskaan confessed to her parents, prompting them to notify the police after Saurabh’s family reported his disappearance due to their inability to reach him.
The investigation unveiled a narrative of addiction and treachery; Muskaan and Sahil, both involved in drug use, feared that Saurabh’s returning home would end their illicit relationship. Saurabh was aware of their affair and had contemplated divorce but ultimately chose to remain for the sake of his six-year-old daughter, as he was visiting Meerut from London for her birthday.
Police reports indicate Saurabh was seeking to renew his expiring London visa during this visit and wished to take his wife and daughter with him. However, Muskaan declined, preferring to remain in Meerut, which led Saurabh to decide on taking only their daughter, for whom he had applied for a passport.
On the night of the murder, Muskaan allegedly drugged Saurabh with sleeping pills and began her attack while he was unconscious, stabbing him multiple times before using a razor to cut his throat. Afterwards, Sahil assisted in severing the head, and they disposed of Saurabh’s remains by dismembering the body into 15 pieces and placing them in a sealed drum.
Initially, Muskaan and Sahil planned to bury Saurabh’s body parts in mud and plant a sapling, but concerns about odor led them to choose cement as a cover instead. They neglected to consider the drum’s weight, which hindered laborers they summoned for disposal. This oversight prompted Muskaan to panic and ultimately confess to her parents about the crime.
The ongoing investigation into the murder of Saurabh Rajpur has unearthed a disturbing account of betrayal and drug addiction. Muskaan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla’s premeditated actions and the gruesome disposal methods employed emphasize the gravity of their crime. Saurabh’s desire to secure his family’s future and take his daughter to London was overshadowed by Muskaan’s willingness to resort to violence in a moment of fear and deceit.
