Kuwait to Experience Humid and Dusty Weather Until Friday
Kuwait will face hot and humid weather, with strong winds and reduced visibility continuing until Friday. The Meteorology Department cautions residents about extreme weather conditions, including high temperatures and rising sea waves. The public is encouraged to check official weather updates regularly.
Kuwait City is bracing for continued hot and humid weather, with conditions expected to last until Friday morning. The Meteorology Department has warned that a surface low-pressure system is influencing local weather patterns, bringing with it hot air and strong southeasterly winds that could exceed 50 kilometers per hour. This increased wind speed is also diminishing visibility, particularly in open spaces.
Dharar Al-Ali, the acting director of the Meteorology Department, noted that on Tuesday, Kuwait would experience dusty conditions along with high humidity levels. The daytime temperatures are predicted to soar between 39°C and 43°C, while nighttime lows will be slightly milder, ranging from 28°C to 30°C, particularly along coastal areas where humidity is expected to be notably elevated.
Residents are advised to stay vigilant and keep up to date on weather conditions via the Meteorology Department’s official channels as well as through the government’s “Sahel” application. This is crucial in light of the potential for increased humidity and rising sea waves up to six feet, especially dangerous for those engaging in coastal activities.
As humid and dusty weather conditions persist in Kuwait, residents are urged to stay informed about changes through official channels. With high temperatures combined with elevated humidity levels, precautionary measures should be exercised to ensure safety and comfort, particularly for those outdoors or near coastal areas.
